WHO CAN WE TRUST ?

There is this recent trend of action that the movie industry has adopted in most movies.

I don't know if am the only one who had noticed the fact that we can no longer identify the villian or "bad guy" in movies these days.

I mean, before now a villian or "the bad guy" was always presented as an angry, devilish-looking character fighting the progress of the hero. But recently, villians are surprisingly not that evil-looking. They have been replaced with good looking ,calm and sometimes supportive characters that nobody ever suspects — i mean the most friendly ones.

What is this proving anyway?

Well, the recent trend is a pointer to the sad reality in our society. A perfect prove that "bad guys" are no longer those who poses as the enemies but most times the ones we see as friends.

Our world is so complicated that, the people backstabbing are the ones who pretend to run around stopping the blood that's flowing.

They are the same people who create time to listen to our pains (not so as a way of providing solutions but to get tips/strategies on how to hurt us the more). The ones we are often so grateful to.  Devils masked as heroes or cheerleaders.

This world has grown deeper and darker that people cannot be seen for who they truly are.
Little wonder the scripture says "the heart of a man is deceitful above all things, and desperately wicked: who can know it? (Jeremiah 17:9).

This is not a post to make you scared or afraid of the people around you (after all, there are still good people out there who have proven to be friends indeed). This is rather a wake up call. And the punch line is :

STOP APPROACHING THIS LIFE BLINDLY!

Take time to acknowledge God in all you do, that includes the people you meet. The world is so dubious and dark that It takes the grace and light from God to discern and know the heart of men.

Hebrews 4:16 says, "Lets us therefore come boldly unto the throne of grace, that we may obtain mercy and find grace to help in times of need."  God is always willing to help. You just have to trust him and be committed through prayers.

A WORD IS ENOUGH FOR THE WISE.
