KEEP YOUR MOTIVATION ALIVE

I was very impressed by the performance of one of my students. The student in question was not really serious with having good grades,but, this term he beats everyone to it. He became the 2nd best in his class. I mean a student that wasn't close to the first 10 last term. 

Out of curiosity, i called him to inquire about the sudden revolution. His reply marvelled me. 

I: You surprised everyone this term Elisha. Mind to tell me the secret? 

Elisha: Ma, its because of a bicycle. 

I: A bicycle? I do not quite understand. 

Elisha: I was promised a new bicycle if i could bring home a better result. 

Funny right? It was quite funny , but that was it! That was all it took to bring out the scholar in him. 

*To be honest, the situation made me realise that anyone can become anything with the right mindset and motivation. 

*Motivation is that one  reason that keeps you focus when the going gets tough. For some people its the fear of failing. Others, its the prize to be won. 

* Eliaha proved beyond reasonable doubt that we can achieve anything we set our minds to if we find the right motivation. 

* What is your motivation to achieve that goal set before you?

*For Elisha, it was just a bicycle!!
